We offer internet connections for event organisers via 4G and through our satellite systems. These connections can carry the usual email and browsing traffic in addition to such data as competition results back to results websites, traders’ online payment and order processing systems, and e-ticketing information. We can provide multiple connections and load balance across those connections.
Our satellite systems are KA-based and, as they are mounted on a tripod, can be installed anywhere with clear line of sight to the south east. They offer quick deployment and fast speeds, and are also suitable for emergency use.
Our internet connections are firewalled and controlled to prevent abuses. Use of our internet services is subject to our standard terms and conditions.
We can also use customers’ own internet connections, a solution which works particularly well where that connection is via a leased line. We can manage the firewalling and distribution of connectivity to other event users.
Our live streaming services can utilise 4G technology or satellite. We can bond multiple 4G connections for bandwidth and reliability. Although costly, our uncontended NewsSpotter satellite system is ideal where performance and reliability are key.
